We had gotten home from Women of Faith. I thought I'd go get Dryden from the quail banquet as I hadn't seen him for several days. Well, in trying to park, I ran into a piece of metal with my car. I had put a gouge in my car door. Not just a scratch. I didn't notice it though until I went to church the next day. I was soooo sad. This is the newest car I have ever had. (It is a 2008 Grand Prix) But thankfully Tyson is a Body man and can work miracles! So by next week it should be good as new again.

Sickness

Wow! It started with Dryden a week ago today. He then decided to share. All of us except Tyke ended up sick with the respiratory stuff. I think I worked 2 1/2 days this week. The kids I think each went to school two whole days. Tyke is drinking vinegar and Lysoling behind us trying not to get it. I do hope none of you get it as it is NOT fun. So we are hoping for a better week next week. Especially seeings as how Tyke and I will be celebrating our tenth anniversary next week. Where does the time go. And yes Dryden is seven. So that does calculate right.

My Spelling Bee Child

I am so glad to write that my son Dryden will be competing in the spelling bee at the school on February 5th. This is an honor to say the least and is especially an honor considering they thought he was dyslexic. He is actually doing really well in school. He is going to be exited from his IEP in March or before. Since he got his new glasses he is in the car ready to go to school. He comes home and asks now to read his books rather than talking me out of doing it. We are very proud of him as we feel we should be.
